Originally from New York, this Frogtown artist began her filmmaking career with “End of the Art World” (1971) featuring Andy Warhol, Bob Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns – recently restored through the National Film Preservation Foundation. Making this film is fictionalized in her novel, “Portrait of an Artist as a Young Woman” (City Point Press: 2026, distributed by Simon & Schuster). Her global documentaries “Women Behind the Camera” and “Let Them Eat Cake” are available for free streaming on Kanopy.com.
