Maja Jurado

Maja Jurado, 2026. by Philips Shum

An Ecuadorian-born artist based in LA, Maja works across disciplines — furniture building, painting, and masapán, the traditional Ecuadorian art of bread dough sculpture. He teaches masapán classes locally in Frogtown, passing the tradition on to new generations.

Michael Todd

Based in Southern California since 1968, Michael Todd’s work is held by the Met, the Whitney, and LACMA. A Woodrow Wilson and Fulbright Fellow, his practice has moved from wood and steel sculpture into clay and painting.

Alexis Krasilovsky

Alexis Krasilovsky, 2026. by Philips Shum

A New York-born, LA-based filmmaker and writer, Alexis began her career with End of the Art World(1971), featuring Andy Warhol, later restored by the National Film Preservation Foundation. Her documentaries stream on Kanopy, and her novel Portrait of an Artist as a Young Woman arrives in September 2026

Anna Williams

A tattoo artist and illustrator, Anna began tattooing in Brooklyn after graduating from Pratt in 2019, before relocating to LA in 2020, where she co-founded her own shop, Twice Rabbit, known for its etching-style work.

Janet Workman

A USC French major who spent her career as a teacher and in marketing, Janet is now retired and devotes her time to stained glass, needlework, watercolor, and volunteering with the Friends of Silver Lake Library bookstore.

John Falchi

John Falchi, 2026. by Philips Shum

John is a multi-disciplinary artist working across illustration, graphic design, and motion graphics. Currently, he’s finishing a graphic novel about angels set during World War II. He lives in Frogtown with his wife, Traci, their black Lab, Ollie, and a tuxedo cat called Chips.
