Ruben Molina, born in El Paso TX and raised in Elysian Valley "aka" Frogtown. is an author, DJ, and community music historian. He is widely recognized as a leading authority on the history of Chicano soul, rhythm and blues and lowrider oldies culture. He dedicated his life to rescuing and documenting the overlooked musical contributions of Mexican-American artists across the American Southwest.
